Project description

This project is a three-story, fifty-seven unit, wood framed senior independent living facility. The project has one floor of concrete foundation for the underground parking garage and a total square footage of 110,000. Each floor averages 24,412 square feet. Amenities include a commercial kitchen, dinning room and two multi-purpose rooms with multi-media capabilities. The site has a landscaped courtyard with walkways and gardens.




Oakridge Senior Housing Campus, Ft. Collins, CO

Project description

The completion of the Oakridge Senior Housing Campus represents a new dimension in elder living for fast-growing Ft. Collins. The three-story cornerstone structure is designed with post-tension construction, slab on grade, with metal studs, cementatious siding and simulated veneer stone. The facility spans 208,000 square feet and hosts 147 residential apartments to meet independent living, assisted living and special care requirements. Detached garages, related site work and infrastructure complete the project scope.

Project description

Seniors able to live independently and those requiring assistance are all comfortably at home at this new Colorado Springs elder environment. The campus includes a four-story primary structure hosting 169 residential apartments with detached garages, related work site and infrastructure. Construction is post tension, slab on grade, with metal studs, cementatious siding and simulated veneer stone.




MorningStar Assisted Living, Littleton, CO

Project description

For elders with Alzheimer's, a well-designed living environment can lessen confusion and enhance comfort. This new MorningStar facility provides special residential accommodations for 20 persons with Alzheimer's along with 65 units for seniors with more general care requirements. The two-story, 71,792 square-foot facility features a nursing station, spacious dining hall, 20-seat movie theater, bistro and sun patio with gas grill and fireplace. The exterior finish is a combination of horizontal Hardiboard siding and stone veneer. The roof is EPDM construction and asphalt shingle.




St. Andrews Village at Heather Gardens, Aurora, CO

Project description

The St. Andrews Village concept is recognized as an extraordinary national example of aging-in-place facilities. Palace worked closely with the owner and architect to develop the six-level independent living apartment building with its 16,000 square-feet of retail space, dining room, community kitchen and laundry, chapel, pool and health spa. Other campus components included a 47,000 square-foot assisted living facility, 36,000 square-foot skilled nursing facility and bi-level parking structure.

Project description

The Pinewood Lodge apartment complex offers seniors a luxurious but affordable housing option with urban convenience. The 77,000 square-foot facility is wood framed with masonry and cement-board siding. It features a three-story design with partial basement—ample space for 103 one- and two-bedroom apartments and numerous amenities. Large windows in each apartment offer views of the lawns and courtyards, while the large stone fireplace, activity rooms and party room with full commercial kitchen invite gatherings. A hair salon for men and women, technology center and in-apartment emergency alert systems add comfort and assure safety.
