Lead Superintendent
LOCATION: Denver, CO
Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 + Comprehensive Benefits
The Role
The Project Superintendent is the field leader responsible for the total oversight of safety, quality, and schedule. Reporting to the General Superintendent, you will mentor a field team (Assistant Superintendents, Foremen, and Labor) and partner with subcontractors to deliver profitable, high-quality projects that exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Field Leadership: Direct all field staff and subcontractors, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Operational Excellence: Manage Procore documentation, daily reports, and inspections; lead Subcontractor meetings and QA/QC plans.
- Scheduling: Create and analyze critical path schedules using MS Project and/or Primavera P6.
- Project Lifecycle: Lead projects from site mobilization and shoring through mass concrete, podium construction, dry-in, and final Certificate of Occupancy.
Qualifications
General Requirements
- Experience: 10+ years in a lead supervisory role in commercial/multi-family construction.
- Safety: 30-hour OSHA minimum (refreshed within last 5 years).
- Tech Savvy: High proficiency in Procore, MS Project/P6, and Microsoft Office.
- Education: College degree preferred or equivalent field experience.
Mid-Rise Expertise (Mandatory)
- Proven lead on at least 2 multifamily new-builds ($35M–$75M value).
- Direct experience with urban infill sites, tower cranes, and material hoists.
- Technical mastery of excavations, shoring, mass concrete, and podium construction.
- Experience with exterior envelope systems and dry-in coordination.
Preferred: Experience with Mass Timber (CLT), Cold Formed Steel (CFS), and established relationships with Denver Building/Fire Departments.
