DESCRIPTION

Bentley Commons is a newly constructed affordable housing community featuring six buildings and 168 units in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This project also involved the renovation of 24 existing units for a total of 192 units.

The project reconfigured the community center to feature on-site leasing and maintenance offices, an internet café, community space, and upgraded outdoor recreation areas. There is also a grab-and-go library, multi-purpose conference room, playground, community gardens, and an outdoor recreation area with a new pavilion.

Designed to complement the existing architecture, Bentley Commons now provides a broader range of housing options—including transitional housing, affordable
rentals, and homeownership opportunities—for households earning up to 60% of the Area Median Income. This community provides immediate access to adjacent trail systems and public transportation.
