New Hires Reflect Colorado’s Red Hot Construction Market
DENVER (December 7, 2015) — As the Colorado construction industry boon continues, Palace Construction is strengthening its already powerful management team with the addition of five senior executives: Brad Batchelder and Chris Derington as Project Superintendents; Kyle Fink as Restoration Project Manager; and Erek Swanson and Tanner Weatherbee as Construction Project Managers. The new team members will lead Palace’s building team and continue to ensure each project is completed as efficiently and effectively as possible.
As Project Superintendents, Batchelder and
Derington will be responsible for supervising Palace’s numerous construction and restoration projects, including on-site supervision, and working in tandem with the Project Managers to review construction programs. Batchelder joins Palace Construction with over 15 years of experience in construction and design management. Previously, he was the Project Superintendent at Fransen Pittman Construction and prior to that served as Project Manager for Lefever Building Systems. Derington brings extensive historical renovation and restoration experience and has held the position of Superintendent on a number of major construction projects across the Centennial State.
“Chris and Brad are welcome additions to the Palace Construction family. They both bring extensive experience, knowledge and vision to their positions,” said Rick Carter, President and CEO, Palace Construction. “Both men will play key roles in planning and implementing high quality construction projects for our clients.”
As Project Managers, Fink, Swanson and Weatherbee will supervise each project, and serve as Palace Construction’s representatives on the Owner-Architect-Palace team. This includes estimating, purchasing, engineering, accounting and construction functions as they relate to the completion of each project, as well as maintaining effective relations with the owner and architect for each new development. They each join Palace with previous management and hands-on work experience within the industry.
“Each new hire brings their own unique experience and skill set to the team,” said Carter. “With Colorado’s construction industry expanding to new heights, Erek, Kyle and Tanner each bring a high level of experience and professionalism, playing integral roles as our company continues its robust growth.”
