The Women’s Bean Project

DESCRIPTION

Palace worked with the project design team to transform an existing split-level building, previously used as a car dealership and repair garage, into a beautiful new production, materials storage, education, and programs space. Scope includes; a daylit HUB area with private phone booths, offices, classrooms, a computer lab, board room, and yoga room. An added mezzanine level provides an event space with a kitchen as well as a break area for participants. The new facility which is almost double the size of the organization’s old building will allow the Women’s Bean Project to employ 100 women per year instead of the 60 per year they currently employ.
